Women bear almost all responsibilities for meeting basic needs of families and yet are systematically denied the resources, information and freedom of action they need to fulfill this responsibility. If Women are supported and empowered at grass root level their families are healthier, children go to school, increased food production and incomes thus creating resilient communities. This project assists organized groups of entrepreneurial lower income women in Wakiso district by empowering them as key change agents through micro- investment capital, partnerships , enterprise training, technical support, markets, social responsibility training, and guidance and peer-to-peer networks. This will result into increased dept, breadth of outreach, support and growth. The end outcome will see communities grow businesses and businesses growing communities as they have the capacity to support and rally for causes they believe in.
